My husband and I are typically pretty private people (fancy alliteration there!), so don't be completely surprised if I don't have a lot of pictures of the family posted on the website. I will do my best to show you the good, the bad and the ugly, though without flashing my kid's faces all over the internet.
Hello! My name is Ashley, author of Faithful Family Living. I met my husband my last year at Arizona State University in a Country Western Dance class (yes, it’s a real thing). After exchanging numbers (quite the funny story actually) and inviting him to my family’s Easter get together, the rest is history! We have two beautiful and smart little girls, and a crazy Cattledog mix pup named Callie.
My husband is the Chief Estimator for a local and thriving landscape company. He tells our daughters that he gets to color on the computer all day. He also taught a Country Western Dance class at ASU for several years, and now teaches private lessons (not ashamed to give him a plug, he really is amazing at teaching!)
I majored in Kinesiology, with every intent on getting my DPT (Doctorate of Physical Therapy), but, as we all know, sometimes our plans don’t line up with God’s intentions for our lives. I ended up becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), which I absolutely love! However, recently I felt a call to take a step back from my career and focus more on my family. So, right now, I am mostly, but not completely, doing the stay-at-home-mom thing. I also assistant coach a girl’s volleyball team for a local club, which I absolutely love, and I am still working a several days a month as a PTA. When life gives you lemons, make a lemon supreme pie (my dad's favorite dessert)!
